Well I have something really exciting to share with you today!! As I had mentioned about two weeks ago, I took some photos with my dear friend Kalli. She's wonderful and I was able to get a copy of some of the photos she took. They are just wonderful and I had to share.... Be warned, however that there are quite a few of them^_^

So, pretty much my friends are incredible and Kalli is so so talented!! Please go visit her site here and be amazed at her amazingness; I promise you won't be disappointed. Also, she's going to be opening up an etsy shop this month and she'll be selling some of her prints! I Love... Pugs

I love love love pugs!! They are oh so cute and I would simply love to have one of my very own! These lovely photos below only make me want one all the more. The picture above was taken at a local pet shop. I go there from time to time to hold puppies... cause that's not weird at all, right??

Really, I would be happy to have any dog, but a pug would just make me so much happier! What kind of dog do you want/have??

Hi Dovetree!

Tell us about yourself:  

I love all things creative and spend most of my days painting or sewing from my home studio in my 111 year old house.

Tell us about your blog: 

Dove Tree Design blog is a place for me to share my work and the work of other artists, as well as my love for fashion, interior decor, photography and general daily adventures.

Where do you find your inspiration?:  

Everywhere I go!  I'm especially inspired by color, vintage, travel, beautiful books and magazines, nature and music.  My current inspiration obsession is ballet.  

Describe your workspace:  

If I had to describe it in one word it would be "piles."  Current projects are stacked in piles, future projects are stacked in piles, all of my fabric is stacked in piles... As far as the aesthetic, you can tour my workspace here.

Where do you hope to be in five years?  

I'm terrible at long term planning, but I'd be perfectly content to be spending my days in the same old house, in the same old studio, doing what I love to do - being creative!

Home Sweet Apartment: Bath

I think the bathroom is often an overlooked room. It's where we freshen up and fix our hair and makeup; it's a place that should look and feel clean and pretty. Here are a few of my finds and suggestions for this room.

I love these little jars! These are perfect for holding everything from bath salts to cotton balls or buttons for more of a solely decoration purpose.

There are SO many pretty shower curtains. I thought these were fun and pretty. They're also a great way to add a little pop of color...

As usual, I firmly believe that the final touch is in the little details. I love these little elements. The candle looks so so pretty and it's a fun accent, and perfect for a relaxing bath^_^ 

I thought these were wicked cute! Not really pretty, but really fun^_^

All of these were found via Urban Oufitters and Anthropologie. I love the style of shabby chiq meets fun and a bit eclectic.
