I'm happy to finally share a little peek into our living space! It's not completely finished, so I'll share a whole tour once we finish the details. The Christmas tree has since been put up, but our walls still need some photos. And I completely forgot to photograph our entertainment center, which is maybe one of my favorite pieces in the living space. I'll share it in the tour. I had a few requests to share gift guides, so here's the first one, inspired by husband. Elisha usually requests some sort of electronic, or this year, bicycle equipment/accessories. So, since he usually gets one big gift, it's fun to get a few little things so he still has a few things to open. Plus side is that most of these would work great for stocking stuffers too! Next up will be gifts for her!

N E W S P A C E :: bedroom nook

Since Elisha was gone this weekend and I had a four day weekend due to Icemageddon, I had a significant amount of free time on my hands. I decided I would revamp our little bedroom space with a little Christmas decor. I love how simple and clean it is - the lights make it so cozy now! I'll share a full bedroom tour once we have more progress, but I will be sharing a peek at our living space tomorrow! Hope y'all are staying warm and safe!

M A K E :: beanie

So some of you may have heard that the south is basically freezing - literally. I've been stuck at home for roughly 48 hours because my car is currently frozen shut. I have had the most productive two days, more than I've had in months. I even taught myself how to crochet! I made two beanies and I'm currently working on an infinity scarf! Do y'all have any tips on ways to pass the time??

This question has been plaguing me as of late; "what makes you happy?". What makes you come alive? Is it being alone with your thoughts, or in a crowded room of loved ones? Is it doing absolutely nothing still in your pjs, or going on an adventure - running or hiking through the woods? Is it in a conversation or a moment at all? No, for me I think it's a state of mind. I think it's when my passion is ignited, that I find myself most alive - when I'm doing the very things that set me apart and make my insides feel whole. It's when I'm singing, or sharing the love of Christ -  It's when I'm laughing so hard I cry, or designing something that moves me - doodling and making nonsense into something lovely through words in a post - it's all of the above. I am happiest when my passion is being fulfilled.

These are the last photos from Saint Lucia I have to share. I still can't believe we were there just three weeks ago! I am currently wearing a scarf and sweater, with my heater on in my office and it's 30 degrees outside... Basically I am living vicariously through these photos. Here's to wishing it was warmer!
