My name is Melisa and I am a lifestyle blogger, shop owner,
substitute teacher, girlfriend, sister, crafter, and adventurer. I love to
create and I long to bring beauty to this world. Whether it be through a photo,
words, song, or post, I want to make life a little bit sweeter for everyone I
meet.
I graduated from college with a degree in Music Ministry;
my goal was to lead worship in my local church and I'm so grateful that I get
to live out my dream every week. Along with that, I also hold my credentials,
and the mr is a youth pastor/graphic designer. I've been dating him for
many many years and I'm still just head over heels! You'll often hear me refer
to him as the Mr. and I'm quite possibly the proudest girlfriend you'll meet.

God is my number one. All of my Pie N' the Sky creations are
but tiny echos of the greatest creation known to man. I'm inspired by the world
around me and the adventure God is taking me on. My etsy shop is also called Pie N' the
Sky. I began this shop the same time I started this blog. I had no idea what I
was doing, but I knew I loved to make things and if there was a way to share
that with the world, I was going to do it! Now, three years later, it's
one of the best decisions I've ever made. I love to make one of a kind pieces
that make you feel special. I focus on jewelry and accessories. Pie N' the Sky
has been in several events, including the Renegade Craft Fair in Austin,
TX.

I hope to do through this little blog. I began Pie N' the Sky in December of
2009. This is a lifestyle blog focused on inspiration, handmade, and all things
lovely. My blog is full of goals, daily inspirations, projects, my
Mr, fashion, and lots of photos. Pie N' the Sky is pretty much my
