bits + pieces

Here's a few bits & pieces of what my days have and will continue to look like. I'm getting ready to have a booth at this year's Walk the Light Event! If you're from the area, you should definitely stop by and say hi! It's next weekend and I have oh so much crafting to do. It's actually been awhile since I've thrown myself into crafting like this - it feels really good. Now that Spring Break has started, I'm planning a quick trip to visit Adrienne in Austin and then enjoying the time off with my Mr. Do you have any fun plans for your break?

As I've been awaiting the arrival of my iphone 5 delivery, I've been crafting up a storm. Here are a few new lovely things I'll be adding to the shop soon! I love this foxface the most! Hope your day is off to a lovely start!

a simple craft

sometimes a girl just has to go pick some sticks up and wrap some embroidery thread around them and make something pretty. I love crafting with the simple beauty of nature. these sweet sticks will make a lovely decoration piece.

cross stitch

I went on a little cross stitching adventure! Adrienne has been doing a lot of cross stitching as of late, and Kinsey shared this sweet diy and I couldn't keep myself from running to the store to pick up these supplies. I have no knowledge of cross stitching and decided to just wing it. It's one of the funnest crafts I've done. My projects were simple and a bit imperfect, but I think they're special and I look forward to making lots more.

stamps and arrows

I recently decided to start branching out with the product that Pie N' the Sky produces - thus the creation of things like the Arrowhead Rings and the Triangle Love Journals (and totes, but they haven't been listed). I decided to take a stroll down custom painted scarves. This is what happened.

It was fun to make and fairly simple to design the stamps; the idea to make a stamp came from a DIY Elsie, at A Beautiful Mess, did last month. I kind of love how they turned out! I think I'll be adding these to sell at my booth at the Renegade Craft fair next month in Austin! Can't believe it's so close! If you're in the area, please stop by and say hi!
