When my life gets busy it tends to take a toll on my health. So, I wanted to make a list to remind myself to maintain healthy habits during this season. Taking care of yourself should never fall beyond your top 5 priorities. You matter.

drink / at least 9 cups of water a day

run / at least once a week

learn / something new each day

enjoy / less amounts of chocolate

soak / in every last moment of being engaged

take / more photos of life

remember / to take my vitamins

talk / to family more often

hangout / with friends regularly

listen / more 

stop / to breathe

stress / less

believe / in myself

spend / more time with God

avoid / negative people

work / hard

play / games for fun

craft / just because

make / a home

relax.

The lovely Savannah, of Maie Dae, recently posted her Fall bucket List and we all know how I swoon for a good list, so here's mine...

to do this fall //

continue to simplify and declutter

learn to play the guitar

add five new recipes to my collection

find the perfect blanket

have more coffee/tea dates with the mr

buy an iPad

finish at least one great book

have a girl's night

make a Pie N' the Sky lookbook

go on at least one road trip

create a photography portfolio

take part in my second renegade craft fair

crochet a scarf

visit home

it's a simple list and some may argue that it is not adventurous, but to that I would scoff. My adventures these days are far less outlandish and more focused, attainable and foster growth in me. I am pleased with this list. I will be back soon with my progress. What's your list looking like?

i make lists.

Sometimes I make lists. Sometimes life gets the best of us and instead of giving into sadness, we have to look on the brighter side and take note of the things, however few, are actually going right. Here is a list of things presently going right...

>> i am moving out on Monday into a new space. Sad because I'm leaving the Barth family, but happy to decorate and nest.

>> i have a wonderful relationship. The Mr is not only my boyfriend, but my best friend; we are so happy with where we are right now.

>> i have an incredible church. and it's growing. and I love the people. and I feel at home.

>> i am blessed with insanely supportive and kind friends and family.

>> in less than four months I am graduating. weirds.

>> i am going to launch something very exciting this week. i can't wait to share.

>> it's getting a tiny bit cooler. okay maybe that's not true, but maybe if I say it, it will^_^

>> i just drank a giant glass of iced chai which makes for a happy Melisa (yes, i just referred to myself in third person)

>> i am finally packed up

I love dreaming up wish lists! I think if I get anything, it'll be those cute mint headphones and eyeshadows^_^ The Mr has his birthday coming up at the end of July so I thought it would be fun to do a his and her wish list. I really like getting present {who doesn't??} but I reeeally love giving gifts! I can't wait to share what I got the Mr. When is your birthday and what's on your wish list??
