Navy has been and will always be so classic! I was recently in a wedding and since the moment we got our navy dresses, I've had navy on the brain. Color Crush :: Rust

I'm not usually a huge fan of red, but as of late I can't get enough. Furthermore, I am obsessed with this rust color! Again, this is generally more of an Autumn hue, but with the right pops of color, it works as a great compliment! So what are your thoughts? Although forest green may be considered more of a Fall color, I think i'll be rocking it this Summer. I think a nice forest color goes perfectly with softer, sunnier colors - it's the perfect compliment. COLOR CRUSH // CORAL

Too often we get caught up in the mundane and routine. We see things on a daily basis and somehow they lose their magic over time. Colors for example, are far more inspiring to me than most anything else. They are everywhere, sometimes hidden, other times bold and making a statement. But colors, are what make this world so exceptionally outstanding, because what kind of a world would we live in if everything was in black and white. Colors cannot become mundane, so often they seem to me like they have lost their luster, their magic... Let us embrace color! I used to do this feature and have since let it be forgotten; I am picking it back up and we are going to start to get excited about colors! Are you with me??

Yes, coral has my heart and always will. It's so feminine, but not overtly girly. I like that it can be soft and romantic or bright and bold. There will surely be lots of coral touches in my new home. So, what are your feelings and thoughts on coral??

Guest Post: Campfire Chic

Hi! I'm Kam from Campfire Chic and while I'm not a traditional pink gal, I love this year's Color of the Year according to Pantone: Honeysuckle! Now if I could only find a flannel shirt with a beautiful honeysuckle plaid on it :)

This pinky color is lovely and reminds me to spring and summer. Fresh cut flowers. A warm summer breeze. Pretty dresses. 

When Pantone announced this year's color, they described Honeysuckle as:

Isn't it beautiful? The color reminds me of coral, but it has subtle differences. They're both beautiful and perfect for the coming seasons.

Oh coral, you have my heart. This color is just pretty. There is no other word but pretty that comes to mind when I think of coral. See for yourself..

Color Crush: Mint

I fell in love with mint this time last season. I think it's so so pretty and fresh. I was reminded by my love for this color when I went to Wal Mart this afternoon. I was pa-rousing the nail polishes and there before me I saw not one, but FIVE different brands carrying a mint colored polish. I remember spending hours last year going to several different shops, online and local, trying to find this color. Luckily I found it by China Glaze and now that everyone offers it now everyone else won't have to search so hard. ha. Do you like mint?
