Alive and Well

I'm alive! After a week of camp, being outdoors in 100 degree weather, hanging out with hundreds of teenagers, I am alive and happier then ever. I had the privilege of being a dorm monitor for the North Texas Youth Camp and let me just say, God did some pretty amazing things. I'll be sharing more about our experiences on my Conversations page. I did want to share a few photos with you though...

It was a blast and after crashing all day yesterday when I got home, I feel refreshed and ready for a fun filled day. As I had mentioned before, the Mr's birthday is just around the corner and since it's the big 25, I've decided to make it extra special and give him a birthweek! I'm so nice! ha! He deserves it for sure. SO today we will begin the festivities. It's still a surprise to him so I won't spill the beans just yet, but I'll let you know how it goes. Also, can I just say that after being away for just five days, I missed y'all so much! I hope you enjoyed our guest posts; I know I did! I love having guests here and look forward to sharing more with you.

One last thing! Sheesh, I'm writing so much, but I feel like I haven't talked to y'all in so long that I have way to much to share. I just got finished posting the August sponsor spots in the shop. Weekend Wrap Up

Here are a few fun shots from this weekend. It was a busy, but fun one, and I'm excited to say it was my last one as a 22 year old! eep! My birthday is in one hour....weirds. But before I went to sleep I thought I'd share a weekend wrap up. I hope y'all had a fun filled weekend!!

Camp.

I know I've mentioned that the Mr has been helping out at the youth camp, so I thought I would share with you some of the fun going on out there. I went last week  to take photos and forgot to charge my battery, oops! I was able to get a few shots though. Below are some photos of the camp shop which I helped decorate! I organized where the fixtures were going to go and I made all the pretty decorations! It's supposed to be UOesque. The Mr designed that way cool banner in the back. He has also been making quite a few videos, which are pretty great! AND the last photo is of the stage, which he also designed. Yes, each of those banners was created by him. Isn't my boyfriend cool? The answer is yes. I am seriously the most proud girlfriend ever! He makes it so easy to be his biggest fan though^_^ SO cheesy, but so true! ha! Have any of y'all ever gone to a youth camp?? I only went once and it was as a leader; I totally missed out!

Baby you're a firework

Our city had a big Fourth of July Celebration yesterday and our church helped volunteer. It was a blast! I had the lovely job of taking pictures throughout the day. I also enjoyed a pretty amazing fireworks show; I love love fireworks. You know the ones that sparkle after they've burst?? Those are my favorites because they look like God is pouring glitter out; I think. Anywho, I got a few great shots and others that are just fun, so I thought I'd share a few of the fun... and by a few, I mean around twenty, ha! I think that's pretty good considering I took about 350... right?? I just love sharing photos!!

This last one is of Elisha and some of our students from the youth group. It has weird spots on it, but I think they're crazy and loved it, so I threw it in to show you! Also, I think it's strange that we had our church name on the car that everyone smashed... Is that weird? Yes, yes it is, but at least now people will know our name^_^

Weekend Wrap Up

I started the weekend off by going to a Ranger game with my church on Friday! It was SO hot, but we're in Texas so what do you expect... It was fun hanging out with everyone and watching the game.

This is the sweet family I live with!!

Saturday I went with my friends to Deep Ellum, an area in downtown Dallas, to help with a photoshoot. It was fun and this is actually a little peek into something I'll get to share on le blog very soon!

Sunday we had our youth life group. We played Capture the flag, but with water balloons!! It was perfect because it was hot out and the water was fun. The best part was that I got to speak and share the message!! It was a privilege and I felt lucky. The Mr took me out to dinner afterwards; perfect end to a perfect day.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Can you believe it's almost June?! This summer is flying by! Do you have any plans for this Memorial Day?? I haven't decided what I'm going to do, but I'm sure it will include some ice cream, because that's what I've been craving all morning. ha. But I really don't want to be one of those weirdos who eat sweets in the am. SO I'll wait a few hours at least^_^
