The other day I treated myself to a little vintage shopping. I was so pleased with my findings. I love how delicate and pretty vintage pieces can be. I think it's extra special when the things in your home have a story. 

I also purchased two rings which aren't photographed, but I'll share soon. I like to think of my daughter going through all of my jewelry pieces in years to come, asking where I got each one. It makes picking out special pieces even more exciting!

I have big plans for the scrapbook you just saw! I haven't taken any photos of it yet, but a transformation has occurred and I just can't wait to share it with you!

I'm off to camp for the week so if the blog seems a bit quiet for a few days, no worries, I shall return! Five days, car rides, crazy games, late nights, hundreds of teenagers... I'm bound to have some stories^_^

A break from it all

This weekend we had Fall Break so my Friday looked a little like this. I tried to do the whole "picture an hour" thing, but I missed a few hours, and came up with these. The day went a something like this...

a. I woke up fairly early and went thrifting. I found an amazing crocheted blanket and a few other goodies.

b. I made myself lunch, lounged, crafted, ate some delightful chocolate and watched Felicity (yep, keepin it old school)

c. I went to target to grab a few groceries and ended up buying a blender [to make salsa for a "dinner party" with friends the next day]

d. I made delicious salsa and enjoyed some while I painted my nails with my new favorite color, Case Study

e. I went and printed out my new Scenic Glory prints and hung them on my living room wall; they're perfect! I like to sit on my couch and just look at them now^_^

It was such a relaxing and extremely productive day. It was the perfect start to a quite wonderful Fall Break. There's lots more that happened and I'll share more soon, but now I must sleeps.

Vintage Treasures

Here are some of my finds from yesterday. I went back this morning to snag up a few more things^_^ I spent only sixteen dollars. I love love deals and I can't wait to make use of these pretty things!

So what did I get??

2 jars, 1 plate, 1 stationary set, 1 mug, 3 pillows, 1 set of sheets, 3 pillowcases, 1 watch, 1 suitcase, 1 scarf, 1 skirt, 1 top, & 1 painting

I love vintage. I have a lot of favorite finds, but this little stash is pretty great. What is your favorite vintage find??
