I haven't done this in a while so I thought I'd give you a little peek into my purse^_^ It's really nothing too exciting, but I always like to see what everyone else carries around!

One Day Without Shoes

 So, today is Tom's One Day Without Shoes. It's the day where everyone {who wants to participate} takes off their shoes to raise awareness about what Tom's is doing and the need for so many children to have shoes. It's really great. I personally love Tom's shoes and really love what their all about. 

Last year I participated in this day and went an entire day withot wearing shoes. I rode my bike or walked to every class I had that day. For me, I wanted not only to raise awareness, but on a more personal level, I simply wanted to put myself in these children's shoes {no pun intended} It was an incredible experience. Throughout the day my feet began to ache, not just hurt, but like cramp and feel numb. I kept reminding myself that at the end of the day I could wash my feet and put them in some socks and they would feel better. The thing that really got me though, was that those kids don't have that option; they don't get to go wash their feet off at the end of the day, it's simply how they live. 

We don't really realize how easy we have it until we go a day without something. I am grateful for shoes; seems silly, but it's true. I'm grateful that I don't have to worry about not being admitted into school because I don't have shoes; because that's what these kids face. Let us not take these little thngs for granted, but instead give out of the love of our hearts and help those in need^_^ OH and if you haven't participated, you should. It will change your perspective and your life.

March at a glance

So I was going through my pictures on my phone and I realized how much I enjoyed the month of March and how many fun things I got to do. I thought I'd share with you a few of my favorite photos^_^

I got to drive a golf cart!! Granted it was windy and cold, it was still fun AND I got paid!

I got to spend lots of time with the Mr. ^_^

We ate some of our favorite chips.

I got to have lots of sister time!!

AND I got to see my brother :)

I went to Arkansas for the first time ever.

I had fun driving on the bus with friends^_^

Do you ever have those moments where you think to yourself, "this is my life," and it just hits you that your living this particular life. Does that sound crazy?? It makes sense, I promise. I'm just not quite sure how to put it into words... I just find myself throughout my day feeling so grateful and overwhelmed that this is my life. And I can't help but think, I love my life!! It's crazy and stressful for the most part, but I'm getting ready to graduate {which is a huge accomplishment} I have an incredible man in my life, wonderful friends and family, a lovely blog with kind and thoughtful readers, I am doing what I love to do and learning new things everyday... I love my life^_^ Do you ever find yourself having these types of  moments??

I Love... Spring!

I looooove Spring for many many many reasons, but here are a few....

1. I really love the flowers that Spring brings. They smell so fresh and they make everything look so much prettier^_^

2. Kittens, chicks and lambs?? Well, they remind me of Easter time and that takes place during Spring. But mostly I just love them^_^

3. I like the pretty colors I get to paint my nails when it's Spring. I feel much more inspired to paint them with pretty colors and patterns!

4. I reeeeally like Spring colors! The pale hues are just my favorite!!

5. I have a passion for fashion and Spring time means new styles, trends and of course pretty pretty dresses!!

Those are just  a few of mine... What are some of your reasons for loving Spring?? OH and for some reason Spring makes me so so inspired! All I want to do is make pretty things. So, I'm spending all day tomorrow working on the Spring Pie N' the Sky line, and let me tell you; it's going to be just lovely! I have quite a few pieces, and I know I promised it would be posted by this week, but I felt like I was robbing you by only putting a few pieces. I reeeeally want to to offer a full collection {cause you deserve it} so I will post it verrry soon, after I work extra hard tomorrow! Have a lovely weekend!!
