It was bound to happen

I think I'm saying 'so long' to my bangs. They were fun while they lasted, but they're quite a bit of maintenance... So I'm pretty much ready to grow them out:) They're currently at such an awkward length right now though... they're long enough to cover my eyes, but too short to sweep to the side. I usually just braid them and clip em to the side... anyone have any other cute ideas with what to do with them??

Have a sweet night! My Mr. is taking me out to dinner!! I hardly ever get to see him during the week (because of school and work) but tonight we were both free so we're having a date. I love dates! Til tomorrow!

An Encouraging Word

Every once in a while it's just nice to be encouraged. I know lately I have had feelings of discouragement and just all around tiredness. So in leu, I decided to give you an encouraging word (one I've given myself many a time). Don't give up. Whatever you're doing, however far you have come, don't give up. Simply press on and endure. Whether or not you believe in God, I know that He works all things for our good. and though at times our situation may not appear to working for us, in the big picture it will gain for us something so much great than we could ever have hoped for. He will never place us in a situation that we are not able to get through. We will gain strength through our every struggle. Consider this a pat on the back.... You are doing and will do great things. I believe in you:) Now go and have the best day possible!

Etsy Tuesday Treasures.

I hope you had an exceptional day. I know mine felt a bit long and I felt a tad overwhelmed for most of it, but now it's night time and I get to relax for a while. My lovely friend Cynthia and I are going to watch one of our favorite shows together and then I might make a few flowers before bed. Hope you enjoy this weeks finds.

Five Random Things

In an effort to get to know each other better I have created a new weekly post. The post will include five random things about myself; things  I wouldn't regularly have reason to say in another post. They will be very random and often have no real purpose, but you'll get to know a bit more about me. Today I bought new yarn and I made lots and lots of crocheted flowers^_^ They're going to be perfect for my next project! Eee! Can't wait to share. I also went to church and got to spend time with the boyfriend. AND I held a puppy. Today was remarkable.
