I had the pleasure of taking photos of sweet Sadie a few days ago. She is just precious!  Her mom is a dear friend of mine and I was so honored to help capture this special moment in their lives. 

I'm finding the more I take photos, the more I truly enjoy it. I don't consider myself a professional photographer by any means, but I love capturing moments, seconds in an otherwise regular day and sealing it as a memory. I love the everyday and celebrating the little things - that's why I love taking photos. So while I'm growing and learning, I'm taking a few clients here and there. How was your Thanksgiving? I'm back home and let me tell you, I am completely ready for Christmas!! It's kind of crazy that I'm graduating in 11 days! Just nuts. I have quite a few projects I still need to get done, but then it's over, oh geeze. Okay, so I have a lot to share because I had a superb time with my sis and photos need to be posted for sure.  Be back later.

Have you all started your Christmas shopping yet? I'm nearly done! Crazy right?? But I'm proud of myself; I love love shopping for Christmas presents!

Did you have a so sweet Thanksgiving?? I had a wonderful time with my family and am happy that the break isn't over. I've left my Uncle's and am now in Austin with the sis. We're headed to the Renegade fair on Sunday!

Sometimes I like to pretend I'm a photographer....

As some of you may know, I'm graduating in like 45 days. As a senior I get to have a night of worship which is like my senior recital hoopla! I have several friends also doing their night of worship which requires a flyer to be posted around school. Two of my friends asked me to take photos for their night and here are a few of my faves.

So yeah. I would love to get a real nice camera and have some photography lessons, but until then I'll just keep practicing^_^ OH and I'll be posting the ones taken of my team soon!

In other news, I'm leaving to Houston tomorrow for my Dad's birthday and my brother and sister are both coming too! I love family time! So please forgive me if I'm a bit silent for a few days, I promise I'll be back! Hope you have a swell week!

A Barbie Wedding

SO this is kind of weirds, but mostly really cute! The 8 year old in me thinks this is quite amazing^_^ I came across it the other day and just had to share.

You can see the whole album at GLAMOUR wedding. I know that it's a little silly, but I loved playing with Barbies when I was a little girl and I think these look like actual wedding photos; it's just precious. The photos were take by photographer Beatrice de Guigne. Beatrice told Rock n Roll Bride: “Barbie & Ken were married at Faraway Castle, in Plasticity. The bride bought her dress from The Fairy Godmother shop and her shoes from the Cinderella Store. The groom wore a suit from The Prince Charming Emporium. The couple met more than 50 years ago (yes I know they look young). Barbie was tired of waiting so she asked Ken to get married.” So what do you think, sweet??
