Guest Post: Campfire Chic

Hi! I'm Kam from Campfire Chic and while I'm not a traditional pink gal, I love this year's Color of the Year according to Pantone: Honeysuckle! Now if I could only find a flannel shirt with a beautiful honeysuckle plaid on it :)

This pinky color is lovely and reminds me to spring and summer. Fresh cut flowers. A warm summer breeze. Pretty dresses.

When Pantone announced this year's color, they described Honeysuckle as:

Courageous. Confident. Vital. A brave new color, for a brave new world. Let the bold spirit of Honeysuckle infuse you, lift you and carry you through the year. It’s a color for every day – with nothing “everyday” about it.
Clockwise from top: Heels from H&M [weheartit]; Metal frame [Stamp Your Art Out];
Bohemian top [Blue Kimono Studio]; Pinksplosion [Bomobob Photography];
Leaves and butterfly infinity scarf [Vintage Dutch Girl]

Isn't it beautiful? The color reminds me of coral, but it has subtle differences. They're both beautiful and perfect for the coming seasons.

If you chose the color of the year, what would it be?

  1. Always orange. Or mustard yellow. Anywho, that scarf is super gorgeous!

  2. Very pretty color. My color of the year would have to be powder pink ... or a cerulean blue (just because cerulean is the coolest word)-- or a bright yellow :)
