A look back at the Summer

This Summer was literally unlike any other. I did so much more than I usually do, I didn't have a job or no online classes, just my internship , crafting and friends. For the last few Summers I have loaded up on online classes, worked and basically have not had extreme amounts of fun. Summers for me have been more about having extra time to get more work done. That's why I was so excited to have a Summer for me, a Summer to relax, refresh and enjoy. As this is my final Summer of being in school, I knew it was the last Summer that I would ever have off. I will spend my life longing for a Summer that will never come (so depressing) but I will always have this beautiful Summer to look back and say, "I lived and I enjoyed." This Summer was AMAZING, here's a recap of what went down. {disclaimer: this post is mega photo heavy!!}

We celebrated birthdays, second birthdays and birthweeks!!

We made new friends and supported their endeavors!

I went to Renegade with my Mom & Sis! Yay for reunions^_^

 We did SO many fun things with our church and youth group!! Ranger's games, Six Flags, Outreaches, Fourth of July Celebrations, volleyball, Water Wars and so much more^_^

I crafted lots & lots! I made so many bows and added lots of new pretties to the shop.

We went on numerous fun dates! Including the zoo, sno cone runs, puppy visits, & Urban Days among others!

We had fun photoshoots and I got to grow in areas I didn't even know I wanted to grow in!

We took some of our students to camp and it was a blast; lives got changed and it was the beginning of some incredible things!!

I got new glasses! eep!

I got to live with the Barths, some of my absolute most favorite people!! They were so kind to me and treated me like I was a part of their family. My Summer would not have been the same without them. Whitney has become one of my new best friends and I really think she was an answer to prayer. I'm hugely grateful for them.

Other things that took place this Summer:

Lots of thrifting and some lovely finds, including: peach boots, scarves, jars, train cases & the sweetest little dish with a painted horse on it (more on that later)

New features and blog readership growth like I could've never dreamed of!

Music playing, writing and sharing.

Family visits! I got to see my Mom, Dad, Stepmom, Stepdad, Sister, Grandma & Grandpa, and several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins! Wowza!

My internship! I got to help lead on Sunday mornings and prepare for this coming year at school for our chapel worship team.

I loved this Summer and I know I still have eleven days left, but I wanted to seal these last few months with a farewell post. Goodbye Summer, I will miss spending my days with you, crafting, dreaming and existing without a stress in the world. And thank you all for sharing it with me! My Summer surely would not have been the same without each and every one of you lovely readers!
